The Patriots had a strong presence at the LC Junior Olympics this year. We were thrilled to have 30 of our awesome athletes on deck representing our team! Coach Gene celebrated a milestone birthday on Saturday, July 26, while our swimmers went on to rack up a ton of personal bests, team records and top finishes at the Metropolitan Swimming Junior Olympics.   It was a fitting tribute by our swimmers, to a wonderful coach who has done so much to help our program to the unprecedented success we have experienced this year.   Gene, our deepest thanks to you.  Looking forward to the next 80.

Once again, our swimmers impressed as we hosted our last meet for the summer. It truly was a blast to watch so many of our athletes reach or surpass their personal goals for the season. We, as coaches, join all our swimmers and their parents in celebrating each and every accomplishment; from a first Championship cut to barriers broken and a Long Course event completed without a DQ for the first time! 29 of our athletes made Championships over the weekend in altogether 130 events. We are excited to announce the addition of Chrisanna Hickey to our staff.   Chrisanna is a Big Blue/Patriot alum who has enjoyed great success in swimming and has excellent coaching skills.  She will be mainly working with the Peekskill Dolphins and Juniors, but like all of our coaches, will work with swimmers from all groups at meets and work with other groups when needed. visit the "About" tab "Coaches" section to read her bio and see her pic. 

We had the great pleasure of spending Father’s Day weekend on deck with 51 swimmers from our big Patriot family! The AGUA Shoot-Out at Asphalt Green delivered some of the main ingredients to an awesome Memorial Day Weekend: good company, beautiful weather, and a dip in the pool! Forty-four of our swimmers established a Patriot presence on deck and added a few more swims to their Long Course season accomplishments.
