With a week to go before the championship season kicks off our swimmers continue to perform incredibly, achieving 193 Personal Best Swims, 144 Silver Champs Swims, 8 Zone Qual Swims and 8 Junior Olympic Swims. In addition, 17 Peekskill records and 1 Beacon Record was Broken. 8 Overall team records were also broken. Despite losing several days of trianing due to the weather, Patriot Swimmers went to Montgomery NY and dominated the competition with 195 Personal Best performances. In addition the swimmers racked up 182 Silver , 30 Junior Olympic and 17 Zone Qualifying performances. This was a Trials and finals meet for 11 and older athletes. The performances by Patriot Parents and Swimmers, at this weekend's meet, was a wonder to behold. Our Parents came out in large force and easily staffed the many positions needed to run a meet of this size and were the main reason this meet ran so smoothly. There were only 51 Patriot swimmers in Attendance at the Crimson Aquatics meet at Harvard this past weekend, but the level of achievement would make you think all 150 were there. Pats swam to a whopping 191 Personal bests and achieved 99 Silver cuts, 22 JO cuts, 16 ZQ cuts and 8 Senior Met cuts. The kids were on fire and there is so much that needs to be recognized.
