Midwestern Swimming is part of the Central Zone of USA Swimming. There are 15 Local Swimming Committees (LSCs) in the Central Zone. They are Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Lake Erie, Michigan, Midwestern, Minnesota, Missouri Valley, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Ozark, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.

Sectional Meets: There are three sections within the Central Zone:
      North Section - 1 (Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin)
      South Section - Region VIII (Section 2) (Arkansas, Midwestern, Missouri Valley, Oklahoma, Ozark)
      East Section - Section 3 (Indiana, Lake Erie, Michigan, Ohio)
All three sections run a Spring meet and a Summer meet.
Midwestern participates in Region VIII meets. 

Zone Meets: The Central Zone hosts 14 & Under Championship meets in August. Midwestern swimmers participate in the 14 & Under meets as an LSC team (Midwestern). Midwestern will attend the August 1-4, 2024 14 & Under Zone Meet in West Fargo, ND.
