USA SWIMMING REGISTRATION INFORMATION FOR ALL COMPETITIVE SWIMMERS

All TYDE Competitive-level swimmers are required to be members of USA Swimming.

After reading the information and instructions below, please use THIS LINK to complete the online member registration as soon as possible AFTER SEPT 1, 2023.

Fees are as follows:

  • $81 - Premium (athletes and adult non-athlete members, coaches, officials)
    • TYDE GOLD & SILVER groups should register for this

  • $31 - Flex (Acceptable if your swimmer plans to swim only some of the USA Swimming meets)
    •  BRONZE only
    • Can only do 2 USA Swimming meets in 2024 (If you swim TYDE in the summer you need Premium)
    • MUST BE 12 & Under
    • BRONZE level has the option to NOT register for a USA Swimming membership

If you have not registered with USA Swimming before:

  1. Create a parent/family/individual account.  You will be redirected to the REGISTRATION PAGE
  2. You then should be able to add, complete and pay for your swimmer(s) registration(s) (Parents do not register-only swimmers).
  3. If you have more than one competitive-level swimmer, there is an option to add swimmers during the online process before completing registration payment. 4. Once you have PAID for their registration, you will receive a MEMBER # for them.

If you were registered with USA Swimming last year, simply use the link above to log into your USA Swimming account. If you need to register an additional or different child this year, use the link to log in and proceed to register that child.

ATTENTION MEMBERS AGE 17 & OVER:

  • Since 2019, USA Swimming adult athlete members have been required to complete Athlete Protection Training (APT) as a requirement of membership. There is no 30-day administrative grace period.
  • Any 17-year-old athlete who has not completed the APT requirement by their 18th birthday will not be a USA Swimming member in good standing unless or until the APT requirement is completed.
  • Athletes will continue to receive a notification reminder 60 days prior to, 30 days prior to and on their 18th birthday.
  • All USA Swimming members aged 18 years old and older are required to complete APT annually. This is the individual’s responsibility and includes both athlete and non-athlete members.
  • Suggestion would be for ALL 17 & up members to have their OWN USA Swimming login, and link their membership to that login, so that all links go directly to the swimmer. Parents will first need to UNLINK the swimmer from the parent login. After the swimmer creates their own username and password and links to their membership, they can then share their USA Swimming ID with their parent, so the parent may also link the parent account to the swimmer.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • All current and new members MUST create a new USA Swimming account. If you have more than one swimmer, you should be able to add them to your parent/family account. You only need to pay for registrations for your swimmer(s) and if you are a coach, staff member, or meet official. Otherwise, parents do not need to purchase a USA Swimming membership.
  • USA Swimming account logins used prior to September 2022 are inactive and will not work.
