TYDE NEW SWIMMERS - REGISTRATION PROCESS
 

Thank you for your interest in TYDE Swim Team!  We are so glad you've decided to take the first step in joining our team!  There are several parts to our registration process.

Step 1:  Complete the TYDE New Swimmer Interest Form.  This step begins your TYDE Registration Process. TYDE will then inform you when New Swimmer Placements are scheduled and will send a Sign Up Genius link when available. Placements will take place on an ongoing basis on select Fridays at the Jerry Long YMCA and the William G White YMCA.

Step 2:  After the evaluation, if approved to enter TYDE Pre-Competitive or TYDE Competitive, you will be emailed the online TYDE Registration Request Form.  Complete and submit the form. 

Step 3:  After completing the TYDE Registration Request Form, parents will recieve a registration/billing link to access TYDE online registration through their YMCA account.  This link allows parents to access registration and pay the necessary fees to complete the registration process.  TYDE Admin Staff will establish a YMCA billing account for a family if one does not already exist.  Note: We do not use SportsEngine for registration - you must use the link in the email to register for TYDE.

Step 4:  Once we confirm parents have completed registration and paid the necessary registration or program fees we will send an email to confirm the swimmer is on the TYDE roster and ready to start practice.​​​​​

Step 5:  If your swimmer is a member of the TYDE Competitive Team (Junior or Senior Competitive), they will need to complete their USA Swimming Registration.  Registrations must be renewed annually.  Utilize TYDE's USA Swimming Registration Tips and Tricks to help finalize this process.
