Crimson had a phenomenal weekend at the Centre Sportif de Gatineau in Quebec this weekend. All 16 of our swimmers swam tough and fast in this 4 day long meet. Great job to Freddie Borg for placing 3rd in the 50 meter breaststroke, and for qualifying for Winter Juniors in the 100 meter breaststroke with a time of 1:06.98. Way to go, Crimson! Keep it up.
With 821 points in total, Crimson secures 3rd place in Ithaca, New York this weekend. Our Sectionals team was represented by Rayna Hata, Ethan del Rosario, Naomi Boegholm, Antonio Arena, Jiro Batt, Freddie Borg, Nellie Thompson, Dylan Keusch, Daniel Nee, Ali Robertson, and Alden White. A fantastic team effort was put in by all of our swimmers. Way to go Crimson - Shawmut!
National group swimmer Mitchell Gariepy, with a time of 1:03.24 in the 100 meter breaststroke, is now ranked top 100 in the world for 18 & unders. Way to go, Mitchell! What a exciting achievement!

With over 1800 points scored at champs this weekend, Shawmut-Crimson finished 2nd overall, out-scoring 3rd place by 600 points. A cold weekend in Ithaca, NY didn’t stop our swimmers from performing their best. 638 points scored over this weekend came from phenomenal swims. Yet another impressive finish for our team at 11-14s this weekend left us astounded with a total of 3160.50 points scored overall. Great work from Cara Dominici who placed 7th in individual points scored overall for the 11/12 age group. Nick Andrew 6th overall in individual points scored in the 11/12 age group, and Tim Andrews who placed 8th overall. Individual point scorers include: Sophie Weingarten (23), Elijah Ginzburg (11), Sam Lawrence (10), Sophia Moser (5), Ayelet Nishikawa-Geitheim (5), and Quinn White (2).
