CDST had a successful Decathlon Meet on Saturday, March 7th. We had 37 swimmers entered the meet. We appreciated all parents who participated in helping, timing, preparation, and food donation. In this event, we raised a total of $1500, including meet entries and snack sales. We will use the funds in the coaching team's educations and training equipment upgrading. We had a relatively small number of entries this year. All age group swimmers did very well in the championship meet, and some of the senior swimmers went their season-best. However, the most exciting part of this meet was seeing 5 of CDST swimmers qualifying for the Zone 2 All-Star Team that will compete in the Pacific Swimming Zone All-Star meet. EBA - CDST site had a great time at the winter championship meets, 71st Husky Invitational and Junior Olympics last weekend. 71st Husky Invitational Swim Meet - Federal Way, WA This swim meet is a traditional winter senior-level travel meet for CDST and other EBA sites. There is a total of 9 swimmers represent EBA in this year's Summer Sectional meet. CDST sent five swimmers to the 2019 Summer Long Course Sectional on July 17th to July 21st at Santa, Clarita, CA. CDST had a significant improvement in this year's long course Far Western Championships, especially in the young age group. We had a total of 8 swimmers entered for the individual events, and 15 relay events. Age Group Leo Gao final all his events.
