April 25, 2009 (10 & Under Championships) Great improvement and personal best were achieved by all 11 CDST swimmers. Over 40 CDST swimmers participated in the first long course meet in 2009 swim season and swam to outstanding times. Although the results are too numerous to report in total, following are some outstanding achievement at San Roman meet on April 18 & 19: Eric Wu, age 8, received his first PRT time in 50m backstroke (47.47). The California Dolphin Swim Team had a great showing this past weekend in Montclair Swim Meet. Total 52 CDST swimmers participated in this great and fun event. Congratulation to Eric Lee , age 11, received his First Far Western time in 50 yard breaststroke (34.45) in his first time participating in USA swimming meet ever. Excellent swim!!! CDST had a great Zone 2 Championships meet last weekend. We had about 40 swimmers in the 2 day event. From the results of the meet, it looks like the swimmers like the pool even the weather was not perfect. The competition was fun and CDST won 10th place finish as a team with 910.5 points. Although the weather was cold, performances of our swimmers were hot. Over 40 CDSS swimmers participated and swam to outstanding times in the last meet of 2008 in Pleasanton.
