Behavior and Accountability
The athlete demonstrates an understanding of sportsmanship and treats teammates, parents and coaches with respect.
The athlete listens to the recommendations from the coaching staff and tries to make the appropriate changes.
The athlete behaves in a manner that is safe to themselves and their teammates on the pool deck and in the pool.
Work Ethic and Self Discipline
The athlete will be ready to start practice on time with the appropriate equipment.
The athlete is attending some meets, learning basic meet procedures, and how to read a heat sheet.
The athlete is learning how to use the pace clock for basic interval send offs.
The athlete is learning how to count the yardage and repeats of a set.
The athlete will communicate with their coach.
Time Management
The athlete is learning the importance of hard work in the classroom and will complete their homework on time.
