2023 Job Requirements

This season, each family will be required to perform approximately 9 jobs, PLUS 2 jobs at the Crossings Challenge - our Invitational, which requires all-hands-on-deck!  .

Exceptions:

  • Families with Little Ray only swimmers perform 1 job assignment at Crossings Challenge (Saturday).
  • Families with 15-18 only swimmers must perform 1 job assignment plus 2 jobs at the Crossings Challenge (one Friday & one Saturday).

Meet Directors will email job sign-up instructions in late April, including the exact number of jobs required for the season.

My kid doesn't want to compete at meets.  Do we still have to do jobs? The only exceptions to full job responsibility apply to parents with Little Rays only swimmers or with 15-8 only swimmers, as noted above.  Otherwise, while a swimmer is not required to compete, our team still has the obligation to provide volunteers to staff all swim meets.  Swimmers depend on parent volunteers to make their races possible.  Every family is responsible for the specified number of jobs of the season.  Please review the calendar of events early and determine the meets where you can volunteer.  When unable, you must provide a replacement volunteer (family member or friend) to perform the job for you.

To view the available jobs, (jobs will be available to view in late April/early May) visit our homepage (http://wcstingrays.com/) and click the “Swim Meet” tab near the bottom center.  For each meet, click the “Job Signup” button to view the available jobs (please note, you must be signed in to your account).  If you are having trouble logging in, contact Secretary Tanya Tadiar ([email protected]), who will verify your paperwork and payment are submitted before activating your account.
