I am currently the Head Swim Coach for the Pleasant Hill Dolfins Swim Team and I run the Fall, Spring And Pre-Swim Team Clinics for the the Pleasant Hill Recreation & Park District. I started coaching for the Dolfins Swim Team in 2003. As the Head Coach for the Dolfins Swim Team, I managing all Coaches and Swimmers. I am also an American Red Cross Lifeguard, Lifeguard Instructor as well as a Water Safety Instructor. I began swimming on Montclair Swim Team at the age of 7 and continued for 12 years. I was an All City Varsity swimmer at Skyline High School for 4 years. I was a DVC All American for 2 years and ended my competitive swimming with 2 years as a Pac Ten and NCAA All American at Cal Berkeley graduating with a degree in Architecture. I began coaching Dolfins when all 4 of my kids were on the team and now I am enjoying watching my grandkids have the same great experience. I am passionate about teaching not only swimming but also the lifelong skills that kids need to manage their lives

Hi, I’m Renée! I’m from Walnut Creek and I started swimming for the Larkey Sharks when I was 6. I always stayed close to the pool even when I was playing other sports, such as soccer, basketball, and softball. When I was 10 I started playing water polo which allowed me the opportunity to play in college. I play D1 water polo at San Jose State University where I’m also studying Kinesiology. I love the pool and being around the water, so I am very excited to be a Dolfin!!

I grew up on swim team and being in the water. I started on the Forest Hills swim team when I was 5 and then joined Dolfins as a 9/10. Last year I started working at Pleasant Hill Aquatic Park as a lifeguard and swim instructor. Teaching swim lessons led me to coaching. I’m very excited to be back on the Dolfins!!

I was introduced to water at a very young age and it quickly became a passion of mine. My fondest memories growing up involved pools, lakes, rivers and oceans. Once I got to High School, I swam and played water polo at College Park. My love for Water Polo continued as I played for local club teams. When I was 16, I began working for Pleasant Hill Rec & Park, where I taught swim lessons and that is what brought me to coaching. I love every minute of coaching the Dolfins.

Hi, I'm Natalie! I have been swimming with the Dolfins since I was a 5 year old Mini Dolfin and this year I am finishing out my last year on the team. This will be my third year as a swimmer coach and I can't wait to work with the youmger swimmers on the team again this summer! Go Dolfins!
