Activies & Events at High Point*

HPSC offers a variety of activies and events throughout the year for children, families, and adults.
A key part to our special events program is volunteers. Each event is run by many members who volunteer their time. If you would like to volunteer, please email us at: [email protected]. We will be happy to include you in our volunteers!
HPSC activities and events include the following:
Open Swim
Generally 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM. See the details on the Open Swim Hours page.
Lap Swimming
Two lanes are available for lap swimming (with priority to adults) during open swim hours. See the details on the Lap Swimming page.
Swim Lessons
Members and their children received free swim lessons. See the details on the Swim Lessons pages.
Swim and Dive Team
Don't let the word TEAM intimidate you. Children ages 4-18 are welcome to join the fun! It is a great opportunity to improve swim strokes and/or dive techniques, build self confidence, get to know teammates. There is a separate fee to participate. See the details on the Swim & Dive Team page.
Water Ballet
Usually the 3rd Wednesday in July at 7:00 PM. Think synchronized dives, cannon balls, splashes, and underwater tricks timed perfectly to toe-tapping jams. There is a fee of $15 per child to participate. See the details on the Water Ballet page.
Water Aerobics
Are you looking for a fun, low impact way to exercise in the water? Then water aerobics is for you! Offered Sunday mornings in June and July and once during the week (late afternoon or evening) in August. The schedule is subject to instructor availability and member interest. Schedule and class times TBD.
July 4th Festivities
- Various exciting and fun games to entertain children of all ages!
- DJ Disco Dan spins awesome July 4th relevant songs (eg. Born in the USA, Firework, America, and of course, U.S. Blues).
- Pool opens at noon. Games begin around 2:00 PM.
- It's always very crowded on the 4th. The back gate is open and members are welcome to bring tents, chairs, and coolers and sit in the grass area east of the pool.
Movie Nights
Usually about 1-2 movies in July and 1-2 movies in August. Don't know which movies will be shown, but rumor has it that they will be blockbusters.
Margarita & Karaoke Nights
About once a month from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Karaoke is open to adults and children. Margaritas are for adults age 21+.
Adult Social
Our annual Trivia Night takes place on the third Saturday in July following the Annual Membership meeting which begins at 6:00 PM.
Floatie Nights
Most Tuesday and Thursday nights during the month of August.
Teen Night
Usually in August. It will probably be pretty chill. Whatever.
Doggie Dive
Labor Day starting at 4:00 PM.
