Volunteer Opportunities

HPSC is a not-for-profit, volunteer-led organization. We rely heavily on our pool members to help plan and run a variety of events and activities at the pool including pre-season cleanup days, social events, swim and dive team meets, and more.

General Pool Family Volunteer Requirement

Members have a five (5) hour per year volunteer obligation per family. Members have the option to opt-out of this obligation with a $100 buyout fee. Volunteer hours at home swim or dive meets DO qualify.

Swim and Dive Team Family Volunteer Requirement

Swim/Dive team families are required to volunteer for three (3) shifts at home swim meets or three (3) shifts at home dive meets throughout the season. There is no buyout fee. We need all families to volunteer at home meets in order for meets to run smoothly. Swim/Dive team volunteer hours DO count towards the general pool family volunteer requirement.

All City Swim Family Volunteer Requirement

The All City Swim Meet will take place at Hill Farm pool on July 31 - August 1, 2025. All participating pools are required to provide volunteers based on the number of athletes who participated in the All City Swim Meet the prior year. The number of volunteer slots that High Point pool needs to fill will be announced during the pool season. Watch for more information in upcoming newsletters.
