Information

When: April 27th & May 4th from 9-11 am

Who: Girls + Boys 3rd-7th graders may attend; 8th graders - see below.

ALL SCHOOLS are welcome, not just those zoned for Woodcreek HS

What: Introduction to water polo and fundamental skills to the sport

Where: Roseville Aquatics Complex (R.A.C.)

3051 Woodcreek Oaks Blvd, Roseville, CA 95747

Why: To Introduce the amazing sport of water polo to young athletes

Level: No polo experience needed, but we request an ability to swim 25 yards and to bring a positive attitude

Cost: $100 per athlete • sibling discount $90/athlete

Included: WHS Branded Drawstring Backpack and Snacks

Lifeguards will be on-site along with Woodcreek H.S. Coaches + Boys and Girls Water Polo Athletes

What should you bring / wear: please arrive ten to fifteen minutes early - it will be less stressful for your athlete to arrive early. Ensure your payment is across. We recommend bringing a lot of water, towel, goggles, sunblock already on, swim cap, and wear a suit you feel comfortable in (one piece is suggested for girls). If you're nervous or have questions - email is below. Bring out a buddy with you - last minute sign-ups are welcome, but if you can sign up in advance, it helps us be prepared. Please share this post - it's not just for future Woodcreek HS athletes - ANY school athlete can attend.

So we can keep you on polo updates from team parents for Summer and August updates for athletes.

Payments

We prefer use Venmo for payments and please MARK that NOTE the payment is for Water Polo Camp (WPC). Please pay in advance of the water polo camp - there will be a review of payments collected before the camp begins.

Coaches can NOT handle money - so please look for an aquatics board member. All of their info, along with coaches are on this website under "contact our team."

If you need to do a personal check - please email us at [email protected] so we can notate it for our file that a check is coming. Please label your email for "water polo camp" when writing. 

After the camp - if you want to continue with water polo - talk to our coaches. There are local water polo clubs at Sacramento Water Polo Club, American River WP, Davis WP, and Cal Republic WP.

There are different tiers to try out and you're welcome to ask coaches and our athletes questions. Don't miss this camp to learn about the amazing sport of water polo.

Many soccer, basketball and other sport players love this cross-training opportunity and often transition well to water polo (and of course, those in swim).
