Who are the Fort Washington Sharks? Since 1971, the Fort Washington Sharks have been a competitive youth swim team. The Sharks are the home team of the Fort Washington Pool Association, Inc. SHARK-A-THON Thursday, July 13, 2023 at 6:00pm Last year, our Sharks raised an impressive $5,697 during our annual swimathon! Our top individual fundraiser raised a whopping $1,150! Thank you to those Sharks who are off and running for the 2023 Shark-a-Thon. With only one week to go before this year’s big event, so far we have raised $460. Wow! Wow! Wow! What a turnout tonight for our first practice. We are really excited about the 2023 season! We have 75 registered Sharks and more on the way. Practices Times. Stroke and Turn training options are offered tonight, Saturday, or Tuesday. Ref/Starter training options are Saturday or Thursday. Parents, please consider joining some of our other volunteers as certified meet officials. Don't put this off as the season is around the corner and training options are limited.
