Coach’s Corner
Howdy Rats, 

Congratulations on a few big wins this past week. We are off to a strong start this season. Please, remember to stay hydrated and drink lots of water with the summer heat we are having! We have been working extremely hard to reach our goals. In order for the team to remain healthy, please keep stay at home if you are feeling sick. Also, if you are forced to leave during a meet for any reason - please speak to a coach about finding a relay sub! Otherwise, let’s be prepared to wear as much as green as possible at city meet this year. Encouraging all swimmers to get their buddies a small gift or card for the Woodlands meet this Wednesday. Keep the good vibes flowing! Go Dubs!

Buddies Reminder
At either the Woodlands or IVST meet bring your buddy a sweet treat + PUNny note. For example, “POP your time and BLOW away the competition” attached to a Blow Pop.” And, as always, cheer your buddies on! (Click here for suggestions for the season.)

City Meet Jobs
If you have one or more swimmers participating in City Meet you must sign up for one job (this includes 15/18 families.)

Jobs opened for sign-ups today at 5pm and will close at midnight on June 15th. Please make sure you sign on and sign up for a job as soon as possible. Sign up for this job just like you did for the other meet and team jobs (Sign into our website, navigate to Team Events, click “Job Sign Up” for All-City Meet, and sign up for one job.)

City Meet Parking Passes
If you want to purchase a parking pass, they will be available via the All City Meet page on www.walnutcreekswimclub.org. Sales go live Friday, June 17 at 12pm.

The passes are nice for families who may leave and come back throughout the meet. Passes are only for the main lot, all the rest of the parking in the park is first come first serve.

Only four spots left! Please sign up here to bring our coaches lunch one day this summer

Lessons
Coach Nick, Coach Briona, Coach Simone, and Coach Andreas are now all offering lessons! Check out our lessons page to access their sign ups. We have lots of swimmers and limited time for lessons, so please be courteous when signing up and leave space for other swimmers to get lessons, too. One to two times per week is a good rule of thumb. Please do not book back-to-back lessons for the same swimmer.
