Coach’s Message
Happy Mother’s Day Rats!
I would like to give a special thank you to all the Rudgear Estates moms who put in the extra effort to make this such a wholesome and loving summer experience. We truly are a big family of over 200 swimmers plus parents. It takes a village!
Let’s focus on Time Trials which is rapidly approaching. Please continue to work on setting goals at home. We will be reinforcing the importance of goals throughout practices. If you cannot make Time Trials, please try to sign out or let us know ahead of time… Coaches are all looking forward to a strong start to the season. A bitter sweet ending to the Warriors season, yes. However, time to focus on our own season, and all of the fun that comes with it. Stoked to be back in our home pool soon!

Time Trials
Time Trials is this coming Saturday (5/20)! If you haven’t yet, please sign your swimmer(s) into or out of Time Trials by May 17th. For Time Trials, swimmers swim all strokes so that they can get baseline times for the season. Time Trials is also a great way for swimmers and families to get a feel for meets.
Swimmers don’t need to wear their team suit for time trials. They can wear a practice suit or a previous year’s team suit.
Click here (and be sure you’re signed in to your account) to sign your swimmer(s) into Time Trials.
A separate Time Trials email will be sent on Friday with the meet sheet and all the other details.
Meet Declarations
It’s time to declare for the season’s meets. It works out best if you declare your swimmers in or out for all the meets now. You can always change your declaration up until a week before the meet. If you know you’re coming or you’re unsure, just RSVP yes; it makes the summer easier – we promise! Click here to declare your swimmers for the season.
Jobs
Meet and Team Jobs sign-ups are going live tomorrow (5/15) at 7pm! Each family must work five meet jobs and one team job. You will sign up here. (15/18-only and Rugrat-only families are excused from this requirement.)

Which Pool Which Day?
We hope to be moving practice over to Rudgear Estates sometime this week. We will for sure be practicing at Rudgear Meadows on Monday, but after that we aren’t sure yet. Please keep your eye on your email and/or RATS social media for updates.
