Time Trials
Time Trials is this Saturday (5/18)! If you haven’t yet, please sign your swimmer(s) into or out of Time Trials by May 15th. For Time Trials, swimmers swim all strokes so that they can get baseline times for the season. Time Trials is also a great way for swimmers and families to get a feel for meets. (If you can’t make Time Trials, that is also totally okay. Your swimmer can get their baseline times at the first couple of meets.)

Swimmers don’t need to wear their team suit for time trials, but they can if they want or they can wear a practice suit or a previous year’s team suit.

Also, this year all age groups (except 6U) will swim the I.M. portion of Time Trials this Friday during their normal practice time. 7/8s who practice with 6U should attend the 3:30pm practice on Friday in order to swim the I.M.

Click here (and be sure you’re signed in to your account) to sign your swimmer(s) into Time Trials.

Meet Declarations
It’s time to declare for the season’s meets. It works out best if you declare your swimmers in or out for all the meets now. You can always change your declaration up until a week before the meet. If you know you’re coming or you’re unsure, just RSVP yes; it makes the summer easier – we promise! Click here to declare your swimmers for the season. If you do not declare your swimmer in for a meet they will not be placed into events.

Rudgear Spirit Shop – Closing Today
Today is the last day to order all your Rud-GEAR for the season. Grab all the 50th anniversary Retro Rat goodness here.

If you registered your swimmer by the first day of practice, they get a free team shirt. Please be sure that the shirt size you have listed for them in your account is correct as that is the size we will order for them.

Spread Good Vibes, Not Germs
If your swimmer is sick, please keep them home until they are better (and same for parents/caretakers). We know that no one wants to miss practice or meets; however, keeping our swimmers and families healthy is our number one priority. There are lots of germs around right now - only healthy RATS on the pool deck please!
