Coach Appreciation Week is Coming
Coach Appreciation is next week! Please use the daily ideas as a guide and do whatever works best for your family.
6/16 – Let’s help our coaches gear up for a long summer in the sun! Bring sun protection items like sunscreen (lotion or spray), chapstick, and after-sun care.
6/17 – Drinks – Help stock the fridge with bottled water and sparkling water.
6/18 – Our coaches do a lot of talking! Bring gum, mints, individually wrapped candy, or cough drops.
6/19 – Drinks – Stock the fridge with sports drinks and energy drinks.
6/20 – Cards & gift cards – Let’s thank our coaches with heartfelt notes and gift cards! You can do one group card/gift card or individual ones.

Team Suits and Caps
The second wave of suits and caps are here – if you ordered, they have been placed in your family folder.
Important: One of our families is missing a new size 26 jammer. If you accidentally wound up with it, please email us and let us know so we can return in. Thank you!
City Meet
Please declare your swimmer and select their events by June 11th. Since this isn’t our meet, we won’t be able to accommodate late adds. If you don’t declare on time, your swimmer will not be able to participate.
Key Info:
-Each swimmer may select three individual events
-15–18s may also choose the 50 Free as a bonus fourth event
-If your swimmer has limited relay availability, please note that in the comments (e.g., “Can stay for relays SAT, but not available SUN.”)

Saturday, June 28
-Individual Medley: Ages 11–12 and up
-Freestyle and Butterfly
-Medley Relay
Sunday, June 29
-Individual Medley: Ages 7–8 and 9–10
-15–18 50-yard Freestyle
-Backstroke and Breaststroke
-Freestyle Relay
-All City All Ages Relay
-Parent & Coaches Relays
How to Declare and Select Strokes:
1. Go to the Team Events calendar and select “City Meet”
2. Click “Commitment”
3. Declare your swimmer in
4. Select the three strokes your swimmer wants to swim (15/18s can add 50 Free as a bonus fourth event) Note: In our system, all events appear as if they’re on Saturday. Please refer to the meet schedule above for the correct days.
*If you have limited availability, use the notes section to indicate when your swimmer is not available (e.g., “Swimmer IS available SAT, but NOT available SUN.”)
Other Important Info:
-Make sure your swimmers are signed IN if they’re participating and OUT if they’re not.
-Families with swimmers participating in City Meet will be required to work one job.
-We cannot accommodate late adds, so please declare now.
-If your swimmer is marked “IN,” your family will be expected to work—even if your swimmer decides not to swim.
City Meet – Parent Relay!
We need eight brave RAT moms and eight brave RAT dads (or grandparents!) to swim in the parent relay (Sunday afternoon at City Meet). Email us at [email protected] to sign up!

Picture Day – 6/9, 8am–10am
(Note: end time changed from 10:30am.)
Swimmers should wear team suits. If they don’t have one, any suit they wear for meets is fine.
How to Order:
Text “2025RATS” to 90738 to opt in for Picture Day updates. There is no prepay (yay!). Just opt in via text, and once photos are ready, you’ll receive a private link and access code to place your order. All photos will be shipped directly to your home.
Buddy Day – 6/9 at 11am-12:30pm
Join us for our buddy reveal and bonding day! Participants should come in swimsuits under clothes and ready to find out who their 2025 buddy is! Parents/caretakers are welcome to stay or drop off. Pick-up is at 12:30pm.
