Head Coach’s Note
What a week for REST! Wednesday’s meet against Larkey was another big success—so many swimmers stepped up with great races and strong finishes. Then, we capped it off with an incredible showing at City Meet over the weekend. From big time drops to tough races, our team showed just how much work they’ve put in this season. I’m proud of every swimmer who got up and raced!
This week, we’ll be taking a well-deserved break. Enjoy some downtime with family and friends, and have a safe and happy 4th of July! If you have access to a pool and want to hop in for a few laps, I highly encourage it—it’ll help keep you in shape and ready to go. I’ll be posting suggested workouts here if you want some structure.
When we return on Monday, we’ll be hitting it hard as we prepare for Conference. Let’s stay focused, stay hungry, and finish the season strong!

City Meet Wrap Up
City Meet was a blast. Our swimmers tore up the water and our parents tore up the hype. (Not to mention the jobs - way to show up and help out!) We got lots of comments from other teams about what a fun, spirited team Rudgear is. Way to represent! Thanks for helping to make City such a success!

Conference Declarations Due July 9
Declare your swimmer in or out of Conference by July 9th. We need to determine our team job capacity on July 10. If your swimmer is declared into the meet, your family will be responsible for a job.
When you declare, please include:
– A note with the strokes your swimmer would like to swim (suggestions only, not guaranteed)
– Any availability notes (example: "We can do relays Saturday, but not Sunday")
Conference Job Buy-Out Raffle
Each family participating in Conference is required to work one meet job. This includes families with only 15/18 swimmers, platinum sponsors, and families who bought out of dual meet jobs.
We don’t yet know if job buy-outs will be available for Conference, but if you want your name in the hat, fill out the raffle form by July 10.
– Entering the raffle means you are committing to a buy-out if selected
– The buy-out fee is $150

Green vs. White Meet – Saturday, July 12
Get ready for a fun and silly morning repping either Team Green or Team White!
Coaches have assigned each swimmer to a team - click here to see which team your swimmers are on.
To sign up for events, please follow these instructions carefully:
– Each swimmer may sign up for a maximum of four (4) events, with at least one (1) being an individual race
– The sign-up sheet has color-coded slots—only use green slots if your swimmer is on the green team, and white slots if on the white team
– Use your swimmer's first and last name, along with their age
– Respect age-group requirements for the all-ages relays
– Family relays may be in addition to the four-event max
– Once an event is full, it is full. Do not move swimmers around or add additional heats. Only sign up in available slots. First come, first serve.
– Sign-ups close on July 8
– The sign-up is a shaed document—please be careful not to type over someone else’s entry:
