The Trails Swim Team is a recreational summer team for swimmers of all ages and abilities! Trails swims with the North Central Illinois Swim Conference, along with Cary Baracudas, Geneva River Rats,Huntley Stingrays, Kishwaukee YMCA of Dekalb, Lifetime, Maguire Aquatics, Oswego Otters, Rock River Valley YMCA Stingrays and Woodstock Dolphins.

The goal of our community team is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and develop a lifelong love of swim.

Schedule runs for 7-8 weeks from mid May to mid July every summer. Registration is now open for 2024.

Trails is a non profit club, run by an elected Board of volunteers which meet monthly. All members are welcome at each meeting and encouraged to be involved in team activities and fundraisers. We rely on parent volunteers to ensure a successful season for all our swimmers. The swim team is not part of a park district or other taxing body. our program is only partially funded by your registration fees. The fees you pay are applied to an extensive budget, which includes but is not limited to coaches salaries, pool rental, equipment, insurance, awards, meets and conference fees, alnog with other day-to-day operational costs. To meet the expense budget of this large team, additinoal fundraising is necessary each season. Parent support and participation is an integral part of our budget to meet our financial goals and help keep fees down while also providing a fun swim season for our athletes.
