CST hosted their first Pentathlon meet on Sunday, in a fun and spirited event that will become an annual endeavor. The format of the meet was different than normal, as the swimmers were awarded based on the sum of five different races. Many of the races were tightly contested in certain age categories, as swimmers needed to balance taking advantage of their specialties while not giving up too much ground on their secondary events. This year's pentathlon champions were Lucas Berman (6 year old boys), Darina Smirnova (7 year old...
The swimming pool suffered a lot of damage during hurricane Irma and the facility was closed for almost a year. To reopen the facility many quick fixes were done but necessary maintenance and replacements were pushed forward. In this project the pumping and filtration system will be replaced with an energy efficient system. In addition, solar LED lights will be installed on the perimeter and parking lot to enhance security. This will lead to costs savings which will be reinvested in the facilities. CST thanks R4CR and Dutch Government -...

These new wedge blocks help bring the CST pool into a new age of competitive facilities. These blocks feature, of course, the wedge at the back of the block, and also a backstroke ledge. Our coaches will work with our swimmers on how to use these prior to our next meet. CST wishes to thank St. Maarten Timeshare Association, who made a generous donation that allowed us to puchase these blocks. We also wish to thank Ady and Franck for taking a lot of their time to fix the wood...
