Life Time Swim Sugarbears

The Life Time Sugarbears are a summer recreational swim team operating under Life Time Athletic. The Sugarbears compete in the Valley Foothill Competitive Aquatic League (VFCAL).

Swimmers ages 5-18 of varying skill levels are welcome to join. We have a seasoned coaching staff that is responsible for conducting all practices and meets at both of our locations, Roseville and Folsom.

Life Time Sugarbears Try Out Requirements

 

BLUE (5-7 year olds)

  • 15 meter freestyle
  • 1/2 pool backstroke
  • coachable

 

BLACK (7 & up)

  • 25 meter freestyle
  • 25 meter backstroke
  • knowledge of breaststroke and butterfly
  • coachable

 

WHITE (9 & up)

  • 25 meter freestyle
  • 25 meter backstroke
  • 25 meter breaststroke
  • 25 meter butterfly
  • concept of turns (open and flip)
  • dives
