The Coyotes are staying strong as Morgan, Andrew, Shayna and Brandon excelled tonight at finals. Shayna had a fantastic swim in the 200 breaststroke dropping 4 seconds. Andrew swam a strong race in his 200 breaststroke coming in 15th overall. Morgan flourished in the 200 breaststroke where she came out 3rd. Brandon made it to finals where he won 2 medals coming in 4th in the 100 backstroke and 3rd in the 50 freestyle where he went an amazing time of 26.01. Great job Coyotes!!!!!

Brandon single handedly kept the Coyotes in the hunt today as he finished 3rd in the 400 Free and 8th in the 100 Fly. Tommy and Aaron had spectacular races in the 400 Free and Paige finished 7th (her first medal) in the 50 Fly. Alexa and Morgan (new sectional time) both had strong swims in the 200 IM as well. Overall the Coyotes have already seen 19 team records broken! Go Coto

Our Coyotes had a great night on day 2 with several swims from our talented team. The highlight was Brandon and Morgan finishing third each in the 200 Free and 100 Breast respectfully. Rhys, Sarah and Robby all dropped in their 100 Fly in the opening day of Junior Olympics. Shannon won consoles in the 200 Back with a new sectional cut and Brandon finished 2nd in the 100 Free with a new sectional cut as well. Both swims were new team records! Go Coto

Our Coyotes, after swimming the 400 free relay at 9:00pm on Saturday night, came back on Sunday morning and showed just how tough they really are.

Our very own Coyotes took first place this weekend at the JO Max Championships in Orange. Our Coyotes swam several best times and certainly rose to the occasion by winning more than 2/3 of their relays. This is the first time in our teams history to win such an award! Way to go COTO! Up next is the Junior Olympics

The Coto Coyotes finished in 3rd place at this years 42nd annual Semana Nautica meet in Santa Barbara. This is the first time in the Coyotes 4 year history to have placed in the top 3! There were several good swims and certainly an abundance of good times, but nothing could top the BBQ dinner Saturday night. Our scrappy Coyotes are in first place after two full days of grueling competition in Orange. Several swimmers have paved the way by winning their events and our relays have been stellar. Go Coto!!!

Morgan took racing to a new level as she won her heat and dropped 2 seconds in the 200 Breast. Sporting her new Nike Swift II, Morgan stayed strong throughout her race and finished stronger than ever showing the competition who COTO is. Go Coto!!!

Trey Lovett of the Coyote 3 White group starts sectionals off for the Coyotes with a season best time in the 800 Free. Trey went 9:16.31 in the 800 which beats his season best time of 9:16.87. Way to go Trey! Our coyotes have a big day ahead of them tomorrow as we swim the 200 Breast, 200 Fly and 100 Free. GO COTO!
