The Coyote 3 White Group set a new team record for most yards in one practice. They destroyed the previous mark of 7,200 yards done in 2008 in a time of 2 hours and 20 minutes. This record setting workout was done in 2 hours 9 minutes. If you want to know how much they swam, ask a C3W group member!
Calling all Coyotes and Family/Friends Tutto Fresco, our lovely neigborhood Italian restaurant in Rancho has decided to give 20% of all sales from Coyotes back to the team on Tues/Wed/Thurs nights before a swim meet. This is a great opportunity for you to carbo load up before a big meet as well as give a little back to your team. This event is by no ways mandatory but please feel free to share with all of your friends and neighbors as the more the merrier. If you do plan on...

Our very own Coyotes raised over 1,600 pounds of food over the last two weeks of October for the South County Outreach. Last year, the Coyotes brough in just shy of 500 pounds so needless to say this is a significant increase. The entire Coto Staff is proud of all of you for doing such an amazing thing for those in need. WAY TO GO COTO!
Due to the extreme weather, practice is cancelled for all groups! Those groups who have pilates will still do pilates, but no water time. Coach Todd
After weeks of waiting, the WAG assignments have been posted. The Coyotes are set to swim in Cerritos which works well for us for two reasons: 1. The meet is local, no need for a hotel stay 2. We have a meet at the Cerritos pool three weeks prior to the meet so our athletes will be better prepared for the event! WAG (Winter Age Group) is a swim meet that swimmers must qualifiy for. To see qualifying times, please select the link below: http://www.socalswim.org/TimeStandards/ (Look for Dec Inv 2010)
Time to start ordering our winter clothing! Parkas and Team Sweatshirt order forms have been placed on the "documents" tab located right below our Team Header. Please keep in mind that if you are interested in a Team Parka that the longer you wait to order, the less likely you will receive it before the Holidays as this is the busy season. Please place order forms in the "sick star" folder located in the very front of the teal box in the swim office. Please do not leave forms at...
The Coto Coyotes have invested in a new team Website. Our new Website allows you to view your child's specific times and results from meets in addition to being able to sign up for meets online. Please take the time to familiarize yourself with our new Website as this will become our main source of communication in the future! GO COTO!
After a long 5 days of fierce competition, our Coto Coyotes finished in 14th place out of 52 teams! Our Coyotes rallied to gain 2 spots during today's relay events. Last year the Coyotes finished 17th at Summer JOs and the team could not be stronger. Congrats to Brandon and Morgan for being team high point winners! Go Coto!!!
