NAC Senior Group athlete Alex Walsh took home the title in the 200IM at the USA Swimming/Big 10 College Challenge. The meet, held November 12th and 13th in Indianapolis, Indiana pitted the USA Swimming National Team against a team of Big 10 All-Stars. Walsh touched the wall with a time of 1:55.89. Alex also competed in the 200 Backstroke, finishing in 4th place, and the 100 Backstroke, finishing in 5th place. Congratulations, Alex!

NAC Senior Athlete and National Junior Team member Alex Walsh has been selected by USA Swimming as a member of the National Team competing against Big-10 athletes in the National Team-Big 10 Challenge. The event features 10 2016 Olympians and will be contested at IUPUI Natatorium November 12 and 13, and will air on the Big Ten network. More information on the event is available at USA Swimming. NAC coaches John Morse and Doug Wharam have been recognized nationally for their diligent and dedicated work with hundreds of Nashville area swimmers. USA Swimming honored Morse and Wharam recently by naming them both the Developmental Coaches of the Year. They received this award at the United States Aquatic Sports Convention in Atlanta.
