Congratulations to Allie Raab and Alex Walsh who were selected to the 2016-2017 USA National Junior Team! Allie was selected for her performance at Junior Pan Pacs in the 100 and 200 Breaststroke. Alex was selected for her performance at Junior Pan Pacs in the 200 IM and at Olympic Trials in the 200 backstroke. NAC Age group athletes were recognized at this years awards banquet, held Friday, June 10th on the lawn at the Centennial Sportsplex n Nashville, TN. NAC swimmers enjoyed barbeque and a movie on the lawn at the conclusion of the swimmer recognition. Nashville Aquatic Club Swimmers Out of this World in Rocket City! Nashville Aquatic Club swimmers kicked off the 2016 Long Course season last weekend with a trip to Huntsville, Alabama. Nashville Aquatic Club traveled to Auburn, Alabama last weekend with 51 athletes to compete in the 2016 SC Southeastern Championship meet. Athletes that made the trip were committed to making it a success! With only 2 age groups represented, the athletes stepped up and finished 3rd as the overall team, and winning the 10&Under girls age group. The 10&Under girls won 9 out of the 11 events offered, and both relays for their age group. Nashville Aquatic Club swimmers travelled in January to Evansville, Indiana to compete in the Chill out Classic hosted by Newburg Sea Creatures. Swimmers stepped up and raced, finishing the meet with incredible time drops and several new Southeastern meet qualifiers.
