USA Swimming Junior Nationals, held December 12-14, 2013 in Greensboro, NC features the best talent from all across the country. At this year's competition, NAC had 6 participants, including Elena Escalas, Carrie Johnson, Sophie Pilkinton, Alex Robinson, Elizabeth Stinson, and Tatum Wade. Elizabeth's performance in the mile, where she finished in 8th place, was the highlight of the meet for NAC. Elizabeth touched the wall in a time of 16:30. Congratulations, Elizabeth!

The Nashville Aquatic Club Music City Invitational, held December 6-8, 2013 brought together some of the best regional competition for a showdown! With teams from New Mexico, Kentucky, Indiana, and all across the Southeast, the weekend showcased some high level performances! NAC performances were punctuated by the 13-14 boys, as the team of Robinson, A. Morris, Jones, and E. Morris broke the meet record in the 13-14 boys 400 medley relay. Nashville Aquatic Club hosted over 1,000 athletes last weekend at the October Open, held at the Centennial Sportsplex. Swimmers from Atlanta to Kentucky came to compete in the 2-day competition, with record breaking swims and new Southeastern qualifiers from NAC! Ella Nelson kicked it off on Saturday for the 12&Under session with a record breaking swim in the 11-12 200 IM, posting a time of 2:11.44, breaking the previous record of 2:14.40.
