What is the process for joining Coast Aquatics?
Coast requires a short evaluation to assess your swimmer's skill and place them in the appropriate training group. Please complete our Tryout Evaluation Form to schedule your swimmer's evaulation.
What are the practice locations and times?
Coast hold practices Monday through Saturday at various pool locations and times to include Fort Walton Beach, Destin, Niceville, and Hurlburt. Practice times depend on your swimmer’s assigned training group and subject to change throughout the year. Please see the practice schedule on our main page.
Are meets held every weekend?
Most Coast Aquatics swimmers compete in a swim meet once a month, but meet participation is flexible based on your family’s schedule. Our team competes throughout the year - three are our home meets and others are at nearby cities - Panama City, Pensacola, and Auburn. While travel meets are optional, they’re a great experience for our swimmers! Coast does not provide transportation, so parents are responsible for arranging travel to and from each meet.
Can I join mid-season?
Swimmers may join Coast Aquatics anytime throughout the year, depending on group availability. Training fees vary by group placement and participation level. Meet fees from competition are billed separately per event.
Who are the coaches and what are their certifications?
Our coaching staff is experienced, passionate, and fully certified through USA Swimming. They are dedicated to developing each swimmer both in and out of the pool.
