Luca Urlando Wins Men's Athlete of the Year

Last night at the 2025 Golden Goggles, Luca Urlando was named Men’s Athlete of the Year. Other nominees were Jack Alexy, Shaine Casas, and Luke Hobson.

Urlando was the only American male swimmer to win an individual title at the 2025 World Championships, finishing first in the men’s 200 butterfly with a time of 1:51.87. This result also marked a personal best for Urlando.
