SIERRA NEVADA SWIMMING
Officials Reimbursement Program
PURPOSE: To foster and encourage the participation of Sierra Nevada Officials on the Zone and National Deck.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT:
- Must be a Sierra Nevada Official in good standing.
- Must be a Certified Sierra Nevada Official for 18 months minimum.
- Actively works in SNS LSC as evidenced by one of the following:
'Worked a minimum of 25 SNS LSC sessions in preceding calendar year; OR
'Worked a minimum of 20 SNS LSC sessions and actively participates in SNS Board of Director (BOD) functions as a BOD member, or committee member. I
REIMBURSEMENT TIERS:
Tier 1: Sectional/Futures or Zone Meet: $200
Tier 2: TYR Pro Series Meet: $400
Tier 3: National/Junior National/World Aquatics Meet: $600
Tier 4: Olympic Trials: $1,500 (or Amount equal to coach stipend)
Officials may only apply for reimbursement of costs for one (1) meet in each tier/year. (The maximum amount an official may request is $1,500/year except in an Olympic year $2,400). NOTE: Reimbursements are made on a first-come-first-served basis for the current swim year (starting September 1" of each year) and no reimbursement is guaranteed and is dependent on funds available in that year's budget.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Funds will solely reimburse costs related to Airfare, Car Rental and Accommodations.
- Complete Officials Travel Reimbursement Form and attach all receipts and submit to SNS Treasurer ([email protected]) within 14 days of return from trip.
- Not eligible if reimbursement is available by another entity (ie: USA Swimming, Zone, LSC, or team)
- Official must work a minimum of 80% of the sessions of meet that reimbursement is being requested.
- Food and Alcohol will not be reimbursed.
REIMBURSEMENTS: SNS preferred reimbursement method is via Zelle (Zelle form is located below); however reimbursements can be made via check.
