VSI Endowment Funds

In 2020 Virginia Swimming (VSI) established two endowment funds apart from the annual operating budget to support funding of athlete-centric activities and growth. The two funds are independently managed by the Charlottesville Area Community Fund (CACF).

The Virginia Swimming Athlete Scholarship Fund was established to support our existing scholarship awards program which honors selected athletes graduating from high school and attending a college or unviersity.  Each year the Scholarship Committee reviews applications from high school seniors and selects the recipients.  

The Virginia Swimming Endowment Fund was created to more generally support athlete activities and programs within the scope of VSI operations (subsidies for athlete travel to national meets, attendance to camps & clinics, VSI awards banquet underwriting, etc.)

Contributions to these funds are derived from various sources, to include meet rebate fees, annual budget surpluses, and unsolictied donations from supporters of Virginia Swimming Inc. Donations can be sent to:
