This Friday (Nov 15th) during the Bronze practice (5:30-6:30 pm at Appleton North) Carolyn Eisele will be going over some swim meet info and answering any questions that parents may have about swim meets. Even if you have been to swim meets before, she may go over something you may not know that can help you get through those long, and sometimes stressful (but mostly fun) swim meets :-) Hope to see you there and don't forget to bring your questions!
Dear WAVE Parents, The second annual Winter Splashfest will be held January 4th& 5th, 2014 at the Appleton North High School Natatorium in Appleton. Our goal is to host a meet that coaches and swimmers look forward to attending year after year. We would also like to draw great competition from teams all over the state. Last year, ten teams with 384 participants from different parts of Wisconsin attended the event. There were over 800 spectators and volunteers. The next test set for all groups will be done on Nov 18 and Nov 19. After the set is done, the Lead Coaches and Head Coach will get together to see if there are spots to move some swimmers (after Thanksgiving) that have passed the test set and are old enough.
