Fort Atkinson Swim Team

We are looking for officials for our team. FAST would pay for any and all training and this would count as your family's volunteer slots for the home meets. If you are not a former swimmer but have been around the sport for a while and have an understanding of swim you can become an official as well.

Training includes:

Online 30 minute course on the Foundations of Officiating (no cost)
Online 2 hour course: Stroke & Turn Certification Course (no cost)
Registered as a USA swim member (same process as signing up your swimmer)
SafeSport Athlete and concussion powerpoint (required for working with minors, takes approx 2 hours)
Wisconsin Swim will run a background check
Apprenticeship for 4 sessions (Our home meet would count as 2 sessions)

Join as a Non-Athlete Member
Go to the Education Tab
Pick the Course Catalog
Click Officials
Start with the Foundations of Officiating course. This one takes roughly 30 minutes
Then, take the Stroke and Turn Certification Course. This course is roughly 2 Hours
