Good Evening GST Families, A few important things for the upcoming week: -No practice Monday, December 15th for Jr.High, White, Red or Green Groups. -Mandatory Parent/Swimmer meeting and Open House at the New CCSD Aquatic Center Monday, December 15th @5:30pm. -No practice Thursday, December 18th for all groups due to a High School Boys meet. Dear Parents, There will be no practice on Monday, December 15th due to the mandatory parent/swimmer meeting and the Open House at the New Aquatic Center. Practice will resume on Tuesday, December 16th. At this time, the bus number transporting students to the Aquatic Center has not yet been confirmed. We will share that information as soon as it becomes available. We are thrilled to begin this exciting new chapter with our GST swimmers and look forward to seeing everyone at the new facility!

Have you ever asked yourself "What events should I put my swimmer in"? Here is some information to help you: Always communicate with their coach on what they physically can do. Their coach will know if they are ready for certain events. Pay attention to back to back events! If you sign your swimmer up for Event 3 and Event 4...they are going to be swimming back to back. They will not swim their best when they have events that are 1 right after the other. Always take into consideration...
Good Morning, As I am going through entries for the our upcoming meets...I have noticed that there are quite a few kiddos signed up for back to back events. Example would be the 25 free and then the 50 free or the 50 back and then the 100 back. While I understand that these may be events your kiddo loves to swim...they will have limited rest between the 2. Having kiddos in muliple back to back races can be very exhausting. Welcome to the Gillette Swim Team 2025/2026 Winter Season!! I wanted to touch base to inform you of a few important things as we begin our season. The 1st day of practice is Monday, October 6th. Practice times: These are listed under the Practice Schedule/Group Descriptions tab on our website. We offer practice Monday-Thursday for all groups. We understand that families need to be families. Of course...the more practices your swimmer attends...the faster they will improve but we know you may not be able to attend all that are offered....
Parents, Due to the changes with WYSI, we will be making some changes for our out of town meets. Before committing to a meeting we might potentially need (3) officials. The deadline for entries may need to be earlier than one week. The coach will look at the number of swimmers and will see what officials are available to work that meet.
