USA Swimming has released its list of 2024-2025 Scholastic All-Americans. Tavia Arnell (SWAT) has achieved this status! Applicants must have swum an individual pool time equal to or faster than the 2024 Winter Junior National qualifying time in any individual event during the SAA qualifying period (Sep 1, 2024-Aug 31, 2025, dates inclusive) with the qualifying times in SWIMS. At the 2025 Mizzou Invite, Tara Joyce (UN) broke three WYSI Open records. Her time of 22.50 in the 50 free broke the previous record of 22.56 held by Kelsey Conci (UN) since 2011!!! Her time of 48.81 in the 100 free broke her own record of 48.99 set in 2024! Her time of 1:44.97 lowered her own mark of 1:46.11 also set in 2024! At the Speedo Junior National Meet in Austin, Tavia Arnell (SWAT) broke the girls 17-18 200 IM record with a time of 2:04.04. This broke the previous record of 2:05.28 held by Tara Joyce (CKAT) since 2023! Congratulations!

Three WYSI Short Course Meter Records were broken at the SST Salute to Veteran's Meet last weekend! Ben Forsythe (SST) broke the 17-18 50 free record with a time of 23.45. The previous record was 23.79 held by Nick Dillinger (UN) back in 2011! Ben also broke the 17-18 100 breast record!
