WYSI Teams are on CRUSHING IT!! Congratulations to CKAT on achieving Safe Sport Recognition! They are now the TENTH team in WYSI to demonstrate their commitment to creating a healthy and positive environment free from abuse for all its members through the development and implementation of club governance measures, Safe Sport policies and reporting mechanisms, Safe Sport best practices and training to athletes and parents. At the October 13th Board of Director's Meeting, the Board approved a new Whistleblower Policy as mandated by USA Swimming. Please read the new policy HERE The next steps will be to establish a formal reporting procedure. This process will be led by the WYSI Admin Review Board. Stay tuned!

The WYSI By-Laws have been updated with the mandatory changes results from the legislation approved at the USA Swimming House of Delegates on Sept 27th. The major change was to bring the duties of the Governance Committee more in line with USA Swimming expectations. You can find the updated By-Laws HERE for some light reading.

USA Swimming has just approved a new club in WYSI. SWIM 5150 is based in Casper and its Head Coach is Bridger Miller. Welcome SWIM 5150!
As we start the 2025-2026 season, just a reminder that tieback suits (typically Jolyn) or suits with zippers are not allowed for racing in USA Santioned Meets. This is a World Aquatics (previously FINA) rule. HERE is the official interpretation from 2016 that is still in effect.

Youth and Adult Learn-to-Swim Grants Programs can apply for Youth and Adult Learn-to-Swim grants through November 15, 2025. In 2025, the USA Swimming Foundation awarded $865,000 to 114 youth and adult providers across 34 states. The funds impacted an approximately 13,500 individuals nationwide.
