At the 2025 3A Boys State Swim & Dive Championships, Tommy Wonka (BSC) broke the 17-18 100 breast record. In Prelims, Tommy swam a time of 55.36 breaking the record of 55.80 set by Caleb Huelskamp (GST) in 2019. Then in finals, Tommy lowered his own mark to 55.09. This time of 55.09 qualifies him for the 2025 Speedo Summer Junior National Championships in Irvine, CA. Congratulations!

A reminder from the Board of Directors Please remember to enter ALL of your High School swimmers currently qualified for the WYSI Winter Championships with your other team athletes. The only late entries that will be accepted (after Feb 19th) will be first-time qualifiers from HS State and they must be registered with WYSI at the time of the swim. At the 2025 PN VAST Washington Open, Maren Tattersall (JHSR) swam a time of 5:04.89 in the 500 Free breaking the 15-16 record of 5:07.37 set by Tara Joyce (CKAT) in 2021! Maren also broke the 1000 Free record. Her time of 10:35.79 lowered the mark of 10:38.74 held be Rebecka Anderson (RSSC) since 2015! Congratulations!
