Beginning in January 2025, non-members will be charged for the Officials’ Certifications courses in the USA Swimming University. These courses, as well as most of the courses in the USA Swimming University, will remain free for members. Non-member pricing will help support and maintain the courses and platform. In order to continue taking advantage of the $0 pricing, all prospective officials, officials in training, and new officials must register as a member or apprentice prior to taking the online training.

At the WYSI Board of Directors Meeting Sunday, Section III.H of the WYSI Policies and Procedures Manual was revamped after many months of in-depth discussion.. Section H has been renamed Semi-Culminating Meets. The intent of this policy is to encourage the WYSI member teams to work together to hold a semi-culminating meet two (2) weeks prior to the Short Course Championship Meet.
