Good morning, Sailfish! First, I want to say congratulations to all who competed in D.C. this weekend. Incredible swims, including some new States cuts! Speaking of States, we are nearing the date quickly and have two meets to allow for more qualifications. Our next meet is Saturday and Sunday, February 22 & 23, at the Bed-Stuy Y in Brooklyn. Due to inclement weather, the New Rochelle School District has announced all after school activities are cancelled. Our YMCA follows the School District Guidance: practice is cancelled due to inclement weather. The YMCA will have a delayed opening at 10:00 am- but there may be changes based on the storm. Genadijus Sokolovas Ph.D, world-renowned sports physiologist, will be presenting to our team via Zoom, on January 23rd, at 7:00 PM.
