The Flying Dolphins were represented by members of the Flippers, Dolphins, Junior, and Senior groups last weekend at Asphalt Greene. There were many highlights and amazing swims from all who attended the meet. On the Flippers team Gavin Green again led the group with best times and Metro Top 10 swims! The Flippers team competed in the Long Beach Aquatic Club Snowball Mini Meet, making a big splash in Metro Swimming with their fast times and incredible spirit. Seven year old Gavin Green led the way, capturing the 7 year old boys high point trophy with wins in the 25 freestyle, 25 backstroke, and 25 breaststroke. Sappha O'meara competed this past weekend at the NYC PSAL CHAMPIONSHIP representing Stuyvesant High School . Sappha posted a lifetime best in the 500 Free (5:55.82) finishing 3rd over all. YFD 8 & Under Wreak Havoc at Middies Halloween Meet The YFD Flippers team made a big splash in their first 8&Under meet of the season. Leading the way were seven year olds Ginevra Venturi and Gavin Green. Ginevra captured 1st in both the 7&Under 25 freestyle and the 25 butterfly, and was second in the 25 backstroke.
