Our YFD Athletes kicked off the 2022 Championship Season over the weekend at the Metro Silver Championships with best times and soaring team spirit! The resilience and perseverance of YFD in pushing through the challenges of the unpredictable last year and half shined through at the CRA Winter Championships. YFD took the meet held in Wellesley, MA by storm as 98% of swimmers posted lifetime bests in at least one swim, with many swimming to lifetime bests in more than one swim. Finishing off the Short Course season in incredible fashion; Emily Weiss traveled to Clearwater, Florida to compete in the 2014 Age Group Showcase Elite Championships this past weekend. Four YFD swimmers will be heading to Chelsea Piers in Stamford, CT April 17-20 for the Third-Annual Metropolitan Swimming Sponsored 13&over Metro All-Star training trip. The trip will feature the top ”up and coming” young swimmers in the Metropolitan Conference. The camp will be run by Olympic Coach Sergio Lopez of the Bolles School and Two Time Olympic Bronze Medalist Peter Vanderkaay.
