The event was structured with preliminaries and finals, utilizing two 8-lane, 25-meter pools running simultaneously during prelims to accommodate the large number of participants. During December 1st, 2024, swimmers represented our club at the annual distance meet hosted by Delta swim team. This swim meet is recognized by having only 400’s, 800’s and 1500’s events. This was a three-day meet, from November 8th to November 10th, and had a prelims and finals format. Friday was a good first step for our swimmers. This was the first swim meet of the season and some swimmers first meet ever, it was a great chance for everyone to compete. Around 50 gator swimmers from our competitive groups (Junior, Senior and Elite) participated at the Winskill Dolphin Meet on October 26th and 27th.
