This was the first swim meet of the season and some swimmers first meet ever, it was a great chance for everyone to compete. Around 50 gator swimmers from our competitive groups (Junior, Senior and Elite) participated at the Winskill Dolphin Meet on October 26th and 27th. The swim meet was hosted at Watermania and it was developed through four sessions. Morning sessions were designated for 12&U swimmers while evening sessions were swum by the 13&O athletes. Registration for our Competitive Groups (Elite A/B, Senior A/B, Junior) opens on August 23 for the current members and August 26 for the new members, with the season officially starting on Monday, September 9. While Renfrew Pool has annual maintenance from August 26- September 23, we will use Central Park on Saturday evenings as an alternative until it's closed for winter (Oct 13). Swimmers from 32 swim teams were present, and 450 swimmers participated in the top meet of the summer before the national meet in Toronto.
