In the first real test of season going up against the top clubs in the province. We raced hard with significant best times and over 38 Final swims. Higlights include: Sophia Brunoro - AAA 200IM Dima Lim - AGNats 200Fly, Micah Lau - AAA 200 Free Sergey Chernomorchenko - 2 Finals ( youngest participant from Hyack)
We are currently working on a warm weather spring break camp in California for approximatley 10 days between March 15-29. This camp is targeted for all JP, Provincial, Youth swimmers, and selected non Pan Pac Trials swimmers. We will get the details of the camp out as soon as we know more. The 40th Anniversary Awards Banquet was one of our best celebrations. A full house and plenty of prizes, draws, and awards for all. Sara Whelan scores a bronze medal in 400 Free on the final day of racing at Age Nats. Swimming out of 10th place from prelims she wasted no time in going for it. On a day that saw all swimmers in preliminaries advance to the final we had a busy night. Sara Whelan took the silver in 100 breast with a 113.98 and added a second silver In the 800 free. The girls in 400 IM lead the best time parade today. Jasmine went bt in her 400 as did Hattie Sun. The sun today played a part in racing as the boy backstrokers had a tough time staying straight as all hit the lane rope to take away any advantage they may have had. A decent first day at Age Nats. The day was cold and a steady chilly breeze kept everyone huddled until time to race. From finals Chris Baker went a bt for 5th just outside of a medal with 59.23.
