Stefan swam strong preliminary race to qualify 6th but the finals were a big lift for all and Stefan had to battle from behind the whole race finishing 10th. Overall a bit of an off day after a great opening day. We will new to regroup for day 3.

Final day saw alot of scratches.... This year, the King meet was as successful as last year. First day at King meet brought a mixed bag of results. Some of our AAA guys are still feeling the effects of last weekend's 4 day meet, so results have been lukewarm. With the Provincial title on the line, Hyack swimmers raced themselves to a first place finish. We have had multiple 2nd and 3rd place finishes, including last year's 2nd place finish at SC Provincials, but this is the first time since 1986 that Hyack has won at Provincials. After leading the way for 2 days, we currently sit in 2nd place after 3 hard days of racing. First place, PSW, with 1745 points and us, Hyack, with 1706.5. A mere difference of 38.5 points. To give you an idea of how close this is, every finalist is guaranteed 11 points (barring a disqualification..).
