Chris Koerber Head Age Group Coach-White/Blue Group

Chris Koerber Coach Chris has over 30 years of coaching experience with a few teams in Colorado, but has definitely found a comfortable home with Denver Swim Academy.....founding Denver Swim Academy with Coach Nick Frasersmith in 2009. Chris knew he was in the right place when he agreed with Coach Nick on how to approach a 200 IM......four 50s fast with great turns (it works for Seniors and 10 & Unders).  We own the 200IM.....from 10 & Unders to our Senior Group..  Basically, we want to be strong with all four strokes and it begins with our youngest swimmers.

Chris admits that he' s been fortunate to have coached some very talented and special athletes, including many State Champions and Zone finalists.  In 2004, 2012, 2014, and 2022 he was honored by his peers as Colorado Age Group Coach of the Year.
