We would like to wish Tyla Martin (15 years old) good luck as she heads to the 2013 CARIFTA Aquatic Championships being held in Kingston, Jamaica, March 29 - April 3, 2013. The CARIFTA Aquatic Championships is an annual, age group aquatic championships for the Caribbean. Tyla will be representing her country of Trinidad. Congratulations to our swimmers that participated in the 4-day Speedo Southern Zone South Sectional Championships at the Hall of Fame pool in Fort Lauderdale this past weekend. This meet is a good way to swim against some visiting club teams from the north while still being in high level training. Congratulations to all our swimmers that competed this past weekend at the Coral Springs Aquatic Center for the "2013 FGC Short Course Junior Olympics". We had 36 individual qualifiers and 13 relay only swimmers that made up the very successful 2013 JO Team. Congratulations to all the swimmers that stuck it out on a tough weekend of winter cold and rain at the Developmental Championships in Sunrise. We had over 150 personal best times and 26 NEW Junior Olympic qualifying times.
