CHERIESSE CAMPBELL SIGNS NATIONAL LETTER OF INTENT On Monday, February 8, Cheriesse Campbell signed a national letter of intent to swim for Campbell University in North Carolina . Olympian Tells Kids: Listen to Your Coaches Cary, NC - Three-time Olympic gold medalist in swimming Ryan Lochte visited with young athletes on Friday at Triangle Aquatic Center (TAC). Almost 1000 kids and parents showed up for Lochte’s inspirational chat and to get autographs from one of the hero’s of the ‘08 summer games. Lochte, who lives and trains in Florida, is sometimes over-shadowed by his USA teammate Michael Phelps. But the swimmer from the Sunshine State is a true champion in his own right. We are proud to announce that the first Sunset Race will be taking place here at Central Park Thursday, Jan. 21. We will be doing this meet once a month and it is only open to PST swimmers. For the first one, the meet will consist of 4 50's. Warm up will begin at 5pm and the meet will start at 5:30pm. We are encouraging all of you to attend. The PST family will be participating in a food and clothing drive here at Central Park to help those in need following the earthquake disaster in Haiti. Right now they can use camping equipment, tents, folding chairs, sleeping bags, and blankets etc... as everyone is sleeping in the streets at this time. They also need clothing, all sizes are needed. Jackets, sweater or sweatshirts and shoes. It is cool over there and they are without shelter. Food: any non-perishable food items, and nothing that needs water to prepare would be...
