Two swimmers and a relay team make up three of the 12 semi-finalists for the 79th Annual James E. Sullivan Award. Triple silver-medalist in 2008 Dara Torres, the world record-setting U.S. Olympic Men’s 400m free relay team, and swimmer Erin Popovich, winner of six medals at the Paralympic Games, are all in the running for the prestigious honor. Plantation Swim Team proved to be one of the strongest and deepest teams in the Florida Gold Coast at the Division II Championships, March 13-15 at the North County Aquatics Complex in Jupiter, Florida. Every swimmer who competed achieved at least two personal best times, with many swimmers placing in the Top 10.
