Iowa Flyers Swim Club
AGE GROUP 1
Practice days:
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
Practice Objectives: This group is designed for athletes 10 years old and younger. This group is intended for swimmers who can legally race all four strokes. Additionally, swimmers will be learning the fundamental skills of competitive swimming in a positive and age-appropriate environment. Swimmers are continually encouraged to compete in sanctioned swim meets.

Advancement: Please see the Performance, Character, Competence, Confidence, & Connection Metrics for AG2 or JR1 . Our group progression is based on the AMERICAN DEVELOPMENT MODEL. Participation in several sanctioned swim meets per season is preferred for AG1.
Equipment Required:
IFLY team cap at practice during the week. Saturdays are reserved for caps of the athletes' choice.
Well-fitting suit (such as jammers for boys and 1-piece for girls), cap, goggles.
Equipment Options:
1) Use the A3 Team Store for:
- Team practice suit with a logo, racing suit for championship meets, general IFLY shirts and apparel, and A3 training equipment (if preferred)
2) Use the SwimOutlet IFLY Team Store for:
- Other, preferred equipment needs
(If multiple options for an item, like a kickboard, are available- swimmers may choose which they like most).
(Required equipment is listed above; all other equipment in the SwimOutlet store is optional).

General Public Dues: $90.00/month
When athletes are Rec. Services Members- Dues (10% discount): $81.00/month
